- Vance Dickason, Luidsprekers Ontwerpen, Dutch translation of Vance Dickason famous loudspeaker cookbook. Mandatory material for the starting speaker builder. Not really a cookbook, but it explains many parameters in speaker design, with lots of graphs and measurements.
- J. d’Appolito, Luidspreker Meettechniek, Dutch translation of Joseph d’Appolito’s book Testing loudspeakers from Audio Amateur press. If you want to understand loudspeakers, enclosures and measurements, this book is the best around.
- Martin Colloms, High performance loudspeakers, 6th edition, though not always very structured, this book has an extensive explanation of many items around speaker design.
- John Borwick, Loudspeaker and headphone handbook. A more theoretical approach to speakers. Contains contributions of many authorities on speaker design. Glad I could borrow this at the library, quite expensive w
- C. Schwamkrug, Luidsprekers fabels en feiten. A bit fuzzy written, but lots of interesting stuff about acoustics, and decent theoretical backgrounds. Difficult to use as a cookbook though (not available anymore).
- H.H. Klinger, Het luidspreker bouwboek. General book about loudspeaker construction. Decent theory, well explained. Not very extensive though, and a bit “old-fashioned” (not available anymore).
