Introduction

For already a long time I wanted to own an Audio Innovations tube amplifier, but they were too expensive for me as a student at that time (1993). It was therefore very pleasing to hear that Audio Innovations announced an amplifier kit, which was about half the price of a built version like the Audio Innovations 500. I bought my Classic somewhere in 1993.
Despite the fact that the Classic cannot be bought anymore (AI stepped out of business), it's quite easy to reconstruct a similar design yourself.
